Mateshia Natalia’s journey into the beauty industry began unexpectedly. Coming from a background in corporate finance, she never envisioned a career behind the chair. Following an unexpected layoff, what began as an unfamiliar path gradually developed into an undeniable passion.

Over nearly two decades, Mateshia transformed professional challenges and lessons learned through trial and error into a career rooted in technical excellence, entrepreneurship, and education. Specializing in precision cutting, signature pixie styling, creative color, and healthy hair care, she discovered a greater purpose beyond the chair.

Driven by a dream of establishing a cosmetology school, Mateshia founded MatNat Hair Studio Advanced Academy’s Extended Mentorship Program as a meaningful step toward her educational vision. Her mission is to equip emerging beauty professionals with the technical knowledge, business awareness, confidence, and guidance she once needed.
